He has worked with the equipment leasing industry for more than 30 years and has trained more than 20,000 leasing professionals in more than 1,000 equipment leasing companies throughout the world.
He is a retired CPA, former Certified Leasing Professional (CLP), and an expert on FASB, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SARBOX) as well as major government financing/bailout programs.
He frequently writes on leasing subjects and has been published in the Molloy Monitor, Asian Leasing Journal, Journal of Equipment Lease Financing, Practical Cash Management, Asset Leasing Digest, Handbook of Equipment Leasing, E-trucker Magazine, Business Asset Magazine and Fleet Financial Magazine.
His international lectures have taken him to Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Malta, Mexico, Nigeria, Portugal, Singapore, Turkey and the U.K.
He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Crains New York and Entrepreneur Magazine and has appeared several times on a regional radio program and Entrepreneur Radio as an equipment leasing expert.
He earned his MBA in Operations from the University of Chicago and a BA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. He studied overseas at the University of Strasbourg and University of Grenoble in France.
Previously, he was licensed as a CPA in California, New York and Utah and is currently inactive. While in New York he was a member of the equipment leasing committee of the New York State Society of CPA's.
